A feast we had....Burpppp!

Over the long weekend, we decided to drive down to Penang for a hawker food feast.
The minute we arrived, we looked for hawker food as it is best known for. As recommended by friend's and the good book 'Rasa-Rasa' - we drove ourselves to the famous Batu Lancang Market.
Known for their Kuey Kak & Pasembur, we went to feed our famished tummies.

Batu Lancang Market

The infamous Pasembur

Char Kuey Teow (beats all the ones in KL), Kuey Teow T'ng (Yum), Chee Cheong Fun (Slurpp!)

Nyonya Kueh (I like!) Esp. the blue kueh as what I call it and its homemade kaya. The Kuey Talam was good too.

* Unfortunately, the Kuey Kak stall was not operating that day - so I did not get to try how good it was. =(

After settling down in our hotel, well-rested, we went on to our next eatery destination.

The Sea Pearl Lagoon Cafe, Tanjung Tokong (dad's fav)

Baked Crab with their special chilli sauce dip (only a little exhausting after awhile from digging the meat out) haha! Plenty of roe though. Good stuff!

And of course, Oh Chien - a must have!

Salted Baked Prawns - Fressssh!!

The most refreshing fresh lime juice I've had.
